    Position Summary:

    Simplilearn is seeking a Content Marketing Lead for India team who can drive content development and oversee all content marketing initiatives . The ideal candidate will have experience building and scaling a content team from the ground up, and work in close partnership with Product, Sales, Public Relations, Demand Gen, SEO, Customer Success, and various other departments to raise awareness of the Simplilearn brand, drive qualified leads and support sales and business goals. The Content Marketing Lead will have experience owning the entire content development process from managing integrated campaigns to overseeing the creative and production process to measuring the overall impact of content based on department goals.


    - Lead and manage a diverse marketing team of 3 - 5 team members.

    - Hire and supervise a staff of content writers, freelancers, and influencers while building a strong team of writers and storytellers, and pushing creative boundaries.

    - Ability to think like a publisher/journalist and lead the development of content initiatives in all forms which includes ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.

    - Drive and oversee a robust content editorial calendar by supervising writers and editors, and being an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.

    - Work cross-functionally with team leads and key stakeholders to generate content ideas, create detailed outlines and convert them into compelling thought leadership articles, marketing collateral and sales tools.

    - Develop standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies.

    - Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop the assets that support a point of view and educate customers that leads to critical behavioral metrics.

    - Establishing workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content. Work with the technical team to implement/update the functionalities of the CMS.

    - Ensure consistent internal and external communication of the global brand, messaging, tone and voice across all marketing efforts.

Desired Candidate Profile

    Experience and Education Required

    - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related communications field. MBA in marketing is a plus.

    - 5+ years of experience in multi-channel content creation.

    - Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics.

    - HR-related experience including hiring, managing, performance reviews, etc. for a team.

    Skills Required

    - Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles, SEO best practices, and techniques, lead generation principles.

    - Ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams of creative personnel, content writers and campaign managers to drive content marketing initiatives.

    - Experience working with global teams and the ability to clearly articulate business goals and the ability to align teams and multiple stakeholders.

    - Adept at developing both long- and short-form content that appeal to customers and prospects.

    - Understanding of brand, logo and regulatory compliance, and the ability to liaise with agencies, vendors and creative/design professionals.

    - Good planning, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills.

    - Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.

    - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, including proofreading, copy editing and maintaining design consistency.

    - Able to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.

    - A willingness to embrace change and adapt to new strategies on the fly.

    - Continually learn the latest platforms, technology, tools, and marketing solutions to enhance workflow

    - Energetic and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
