    Senior Manager

    Job Description

    The Senior Manager , Global Functions has a Finance leadership role in partnering with senior leaders in the NTO Global BPA and enabling high quality financial management information to the members of the NTO Leadership team and the Head BPA. The Global Functions Lead will contribute to the overall corporate reporting of the Functions financial position and the reasons behind the more substantial variations to plan. The post holder will closely work with budget holders in the preparation of latest forecasts , future year targets and the strategic plan.

    Your responsibilities :

    Your responsibilities include , but not limited to :

    Leadership

    Develops and coaches a team of 3 - 5 plus direct reports , attracts and retains talent by fostering a performance driven , collaborative culture across the organization.

    Manages Team , individual performance and development of direct reports in the Global Functions team.

    Assist the Head BPA Operations in recruitment initiatives and developing talent pool.

    Builds strong business relationship with NTO Global Functions Leaders / Tech Platforms Heads by respecting business needs and ensuring strong service delivery to their requirements.

    Financial Consolidation , Reporting & Analysis

    Managing / Leading a NTO Global functions budget of ~$110m , spread across 10 Functions over 6 regions.

    Responsible for monthly Actual reporting and FP&A Activities for Global Functions for all cycles like TGT , LF , LO , spot landing.

    Leading productivity savings tracking & reporting for Above Site functions (i.e. , Global Functions , and Above Site Tech Platforms)

    Acting as a gatekeeper to NBS Charges towards NTO. NTO s budget for services received from NBS from its different domains is c. USD 800m.

    Responsible towards bringing transparency on NBS charging and also provide guidance on internal allocation of these charges.

    Responsible for the FTE Reporting and Personnel cost analysis for the NTO division (approx. 28000 FTE) , including the management of the One FTE system.

    Support the Head FP&A and the Global Head BPA for NTO on strategic and ad - hoc requests.

    Governance & Best Practices

    Create , implement and maintain comprehensive SOP documents and procedures.

    Ensure strong back up & business continuity of critical activities across the individual domains within the Global Functions work cell.

    Contribution towards NTO targets and objectives to improve COGS.

    Quality of data , analysis and insights to assess impact from Global Functions.

    Forecasting Accuracy of LO's compared to Actuals for Global Functions.

    Ensures NTO Global functions is in line with best in class benchmarks for cost efficiency.

    Minimum requirements

    What you ll bring to the role :

    Chartered Accountant , equivalent degree or MBA in Finance from renowned business school - Fluent (oral & writing) in English

    12 plus years of relevant experience in financial reporting , planning and consolidation ideally in a pharmaceutical industry.

    Project Management skills to plan , organize and execute as per agreed milestones.

    Strong analytical skills , detail orientation and ability to deep dive in processes and systems and the ability to communicate their complexity while remaining solution oriented.

    Good communication skills , with an ability to present complex information to senior leaders.
