    Overall Objective
    • Spearheading Technical Services in respective Business Unit
    • Striving to make MSD AH as Partner of Choice among Ruminant Customers of India 
    • Execution of Technical transformation of Ruminant Business 
    Job Responsibilities
    • Leading Team of Ruminant FTMs: Responsible for their continuous technical upgradation and on job training, Developing their KRAs and success metrics. Supervising their field working for maximum success 
    • Aligning with Business unit vision for technical transformation of business: Actively participate and interact between Marketing, R&D, Product Development Group, and Business Development in Road map development and implementations. 
    • Planning and execution of customer centric approach: Developing a comprehensive framework to serve customers across the country with an objective to emerge as partner of choice for customers 
    • Special Focus on Key accounts / customers: Collaborating with Key account managers and sales team to define key success areas in each key account and customer and developing and executing a comprehensive Tech service plan for maximizing our gains. 
    • Technical Upgradation of Respective Business Unit : Staying ahead of curve for recent technical development in Ruminant Industry and prepare internal competencies to provide customer support 
    • Maximizing MSD Global Resources: Strong Collaboration with regional & global technical team for obtaining necessary resources which maximize our win & sustaining Indian Business in their priority thrust. 
    • Outbreak management: Attend to, investigate outbreaks/customer complaints related to diseases as required within the business sphere of Intervet India and provide and counsel the customers for overall improvements. Peer feedback in the process is sent to relevant stakeholders. 
    • Complaints handling: Is another critical area of the Department which involves coordination with the sales staff, factory, Intervet International (where necessary) and reporting adverse reactions to the concerned at factory QA and QC for online PV reporting to address the issues and provide possible solutions. 
    • Training the sales staff: Impart training on the subjects/products identified from time to time for the upgradtion of the sales skills for business improvements. 
    • Develop and maintain close rapport, working with External Investigators in the studies for the support to MMD and regulatory departments. 
    • Certain times this also involves working with private and NGOs for initiation of trials and product performance studies and demonstrations. 
    • Supervise and provide timely and effective technical materials which maximize selling efforts. 
    • Assure that questions from customers are answered thoroughly and correctly in an accurate and timely fashion. 
    • Conducting Pre and Post Approval Product Trials: Co-coordinating in conducting field trials as per the Business Requirement to support launch of new products or to sustain growth of existing products. 
    • Strong Collaboration with IDL Team for maximizing our diagnostic support to customers 
    • Collaboration with relevant Technical & Veterinary Education institutes in India to further improve our image as Science Driven Organization 
    • Resource the useful technical articles from scientific fraternity for publishing the Blue Cross Book in order to the technical knowledge updating of the field veterinary staff. 
    • Representing MSD AH in Ruminant Technical Forums 
    • Any other relevant task which can help in improving business 
    Pharmacovigilance Role:
    Technical guidance to DPOC for PV cases
    Ensure PV compliance
