    Job Description for Sitecore Developer

    The candidate will work as a key technical resource for design and development of the Digital Channel Marketing services for client. He/ She should be able to complete development and change control activities and possess an understanding of technical and business trends, and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to client and business partners.

    Position Description :

    Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related fields.

    6 - 10 years of professional programming experience implementing complex web applications.

    Must have experience in Sitecore 8.2 or above (Sitecore certification preferred) .

    Must have experience in .Net Framework 4.7, C#, ASP.Net MVC 5/ 6, Web API 2.0, Visual Studio 2017, IIS 10 and SQL Server 2016.

    Must have experience in building and Consuming REST APIs preferably using Web API or Node.js

    Must have experience in writing Unit Test cases using MS Test, NUnit or Xunit

    Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, JQuery

    Experience using Git, GitHub, BitBucket for version control.

    Good Understanding of LINQ and Entity Framework.

    Experience working in Agile environment

    Understanding of Sitecore JSS, Unicorn or TDS, GlassMapper and Helix design patterns (Nice to have)

    Understanding of front end frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js (Nice to have)

    Experience developing applications with Cloud Technologies Azure or AWS (Nice to have)

    Experience with CI, / CD and Azure Dev Ops (Nice to have)

    Understanding of BDD and TDD design principles (Nice to have)

    Strong business orientation with broad experience with banking and financial processes, technology and change initiatives.

    In - depth understanding and execution experience of Software Engineering Principles, Architecture, and Software Development Life cycle.

    Understands business processes, appropriate application of technology in supporting those processes, and the common technical complexity / considerations when evaluating new products or process options.

    Skilled at identifying and evaluating existing operations and new developments and gauging appropriate opportunities for the business.

    Focus on development of organizational capabilities and resources to support continuous evolution of a more competitive and profitable organization.

    Possess leadership, planning, and managerial skills with ability to contribute broadly at any level.

    Pragmatic with an ability to generate trust and build alliances across business and functional lines.
