    Position Summary

    The Software Engineering Manager will lead, manage, and inspire engineering teams developing some of our mission critical software products. You will have a unique opportunity to be both an individual contributor and lead a team of developers in designing and delivering solutions in our core product lines.

    Responsibilities
    • Be a combination of a highly-technical hands-on software engineer and an effective people leader.
    • Recruit, inspire, and develop team members.
    • Foster a strong engineering craftsmanship culture, create a work environment that promotes experimentation and innovation
    • Lead by example and make every team member accountable and aligned to the company purpose and the need of the customers
    • Hold your own in technical discussions, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence.
    • Communicate cross-functionally across various teams, organizations and internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts.
    • Ensure design and code reviews, analysis of code components and code coverage of Unit test cases.
    • Drive end-to-end quality with effective automation of unit level, component level and system level testing
    • Partner with product team to balance between customer needs and maintaining a product for many customers

    1. Clear evidence of excellence in prior work
    2. Passion for technology and building great teams
    3. Minimum 15 years of experience in hands-on development of mission critical products
    4. Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams of 5+
    5. Highly proficient in Java and solid understanding of full stack development
    6. Experience working in a high-volume or critical production service environment
    7. Strong communication and written skills, ability to communicate and perform during high stress situations
    8. Outstanding track record in enterprise-level applications development in an agile development environment
    9. BE / B.Tech IT/ CSE/ ECE - From Top Universities in India
    10. Knowledge of or experience with highly-available supply chain, logistics or industrial systems a plus.
