    General requirements
    • Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams to meet our customers' individual needs for their infrastructure and application deployments.
    • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure deployments, recreate customer issues, and build proof of concept environments that abide by cloud-best-practices. Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs.
    • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple AWS services
    • Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow AWS Engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale
    • Identify and drive improvements to process and technical related issues. Act as an escalation point and/or mentor to those your junior.
    • Leverage your day-to-day experiences to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams.
    • Drive customer communication during critical events.
    • Experience in Active-Passive setup
    Job specific requirements
    • Adhere to customer defined Cloud Design standards and best practices
    • Create and monitor CloudWatch dashboards
    • Operating System, Application and Database patching
    • Setup, test and operation of Backup operating systems, applications and databases
    • Optimize performance of applications, servers and databases on a regular basis Proactive Monitoring using AWS services and other 3rd party tools
    • Application Disaster Recovery testing and invoking
    • Workload / Application - installation, configuration, validation, software version upgrade
    • Incident, Problem, Configuration and Release Management
    • Knowledge in SAP application suites including SAP HANA DB will be an added advantage

    Preferred Qualifications
    • AWS Certified
    • Experience with EC2, S3, Route53, VPC, IAM, Active Directory, Simple email Service
    • At least 6-9 years AWS experience with production workloads
    • Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
