    The NVIDIA Graphics Processing Unit Software group is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Sr System Software Engineer to become a part of global leader in cutting edge technology.

    In this role, you will be expected to take a strong, hands-on approach working with the various GPU hardware and software architecture, engineering, process and safety teams to ensure reliable execution of safe development and engineering practices from design to deployment of the driver and firmware stacks.

    What youll be doing:

    You will work on complete Product life cycle of GPU and in process design, develop build and improve GPU System software.
    Develop and maintain work products defined by the safety standards.
    Manage software compliance against safety standards, coordinate efforts, measure results.
    Recommend best practices for safe development driving continuous improvement in the NVIDIA software organization, including developing process guidelines, mentoring and delivering training materials
    Will work with the Hardware, Architecture and Software teams to influence, design and develop safety features for the next generation GPU, safety features.

Desired Candidate Profile

    What we nee to see:

    You should have a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
    8+ years of applicable industry experience
    Deep understanding of software quality concepts and processes
    Proficiency in C/C++ and related coding standards (e.g. Automotive MISRA or similar)
    Have strong experience in computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller.
    Past work on design and implementation of safe and secure embedded software
    Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
    Strong interpersonal skills and passion to learn new technology.
    Phenomenal teammate, Ability to work with various teams SW, HW, QA, etc distributed across the globe to deliver solution.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring a high quality of work.

    Ways to stand out from the crowed:

    Deep understanding of systems architecture: CPU, GPU, memory, display, buses, kernel internals would be helpful.
    Experience with certifying complex device driver software, RTOS or Firmware.
    Experience with embedded system SW concepts, e.g.: RTOS and overlay programming models.
