Staff Analyst Business Systems Analysis

Understand business case and translate to holistic solution involving Abinitio ETL capabilities

Development of sophisticated data warehouse solutions based on good understanding of overall system architecture and data flow and usage within GLOBALFOUNDRIES.

Strong Oracle SQL skill setStrong knowledge in Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, AI/ ML etc) and Cloud Data warehouse

Data Warehouse working exposure & R Script

Convert business requirements to technical specification for Abinitio Graphs.

Manage requirements backlog (including bug fixes) against your applications.

This includes providing / verifying effort estimates on proposed solutions and managing a release roadmap

Define architecture and design approaches to address customer requirements.

High level & detailed design of Abintio Solution.

Provide guidelines around Abinitio administration.

Good experience in Ab Initio as an ETL ToolEnsures Ab Initio code base is appropriately engineered so as to maintain current functionality

Design, code, unit test and deploy Ab Initio modules

Document technical design

Design, code, unit test and deploy miscellaneous technical modules (i.e. Scripts, Autosys jobs)

Perform migration of application code and metadata through Dev, SIT, UAT and Prod

Experience as Design Lead Creating Design Docs, proposing and implementing Design solutions

Good working experience with all components of Ab Initio such as Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup etc.

Experience with various Ab initio parallelism techniques, Ab initio Graphs using Data, Pipeline & Component parallelisms

Experience using any of the scheduling tools like Autosys, Control- M etc.

Experience with one or more modern programming languages, preferably Java

Knowledge of Pro- C, R Scripting Perl and shell- scripting in Unix and Linux environment

Experience in semiconductor industry

Knowledge of XML, AWS

Experience with reporting data solutions and business intelligence tools

Experience in collecting, structuring and summarizing requirements in a data warehouse environment

Knowledge of statistical data analysis and data mining

Experience in test management, test case definition and test processesITIL knowledge.

Required Candidate profile

Degree/ Masters in IT or related discipline5 years or more experience in developing solutions in Abinitio/ Data warehouse, BI & Cloud TechnologiesStrong Oracle SQL skill set & Data Warehouse working exposureProven experience with large, complex database projects in environments producing high- volume dataExperience in preparing data warehouse design artifacts based on given requirements (ETL framework design, data modeling, source- target- mapping)Excellent conceptual abilities pared with very good technical documentation skills, e.g. ability to understand and document complex data flows as part of business / production processes, infrastructure.- Familiarity with SDLC concepts and processes
