    Job Purpose:

    Drives delivery & building of analytical solutions to support the Novartis internal customers on various data & digital initiatives Drives Data Quality enhancement across the organization for consistency, correctness and completeness Support and facilitate data enabled decision making for Novartis internal customers by providing and communicating qualitative and quantitative analytics.

    Major Accountabilities:
    Data analytics in the area of supply chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Stability and Data quality enhancement
    Develops & drives strategic vision for enhancing analytical capabilities and solutions.
    Drives and leads end- to- end analytical solutions with the use of new analytics, software tools and systems.
    Makes strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements incorporating business requirements and knowledge of best practices.
    Develops robust data quality and governance mechanism to improve organization s data quality.
    Advises executives on how analytics (processes, practices and technologies) play a critical role in improving business management and optimization.
    Translate stakeholders requirements into analytical deliverables and provides subject matter expertise across various solutions.
    Works on complex, cross functional, and enterprise wide analytical solutions.
    Develops work plans or reviews other work plan timelines and manages workflows to meet time frames.
    Stays abreast of analytical products/ tools and of business strategies and direction .
    Guides team in Designs experiments, test hypotheses, and build models. Applies advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve on multiple real- time decision systems.
    Develops usage and access control policies and systems in collaboration with the data steward.
    Partners with the data stewards in continuous improvement processes affecting data quality in the context of the specific use case.
    Recommends ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information.
    Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve business partners analytics problems and communicates results and methodologies
    Participate in evaluating new technologies so as to ensure the advancement of technology architecture and data within organization Business Intelligence needs.
    Develop performance metrics, measure KPIs and generate insights.
    Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train the users .
    Comply with all internal functional operating procedures like time tracking, KPI tracking and reporting, and other internal systems and processes.
    Comply to all Novartis operating procedures as per legal / IT / HR requirements

    Minimum requirements

    Masters in mathematics, statistics, or computer science or related field; PHD degree preferred English - Experience (10 14 years) in advanced analytics Strong experience in managing teams in BI & advanced analytics
    Exposure & experience in Statistical techniques - Holistic understanding and expertise in supply chain, quality, manufacturing and associated areas - Pharma industry experience will be added advantage - Proven expertise in managing business intelligence projects - Expertise in estimating, planning and scoping of projects - Strong understanding of project management principles and processes - Proven ability to work with data and create powerful presentations
