    As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software process -such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.


    As a Scrum Master, you will help team achieve high quality technology solutions that address business needs. This position requires a high level of expertise w.r.t Srum Master role and Busines ANalyst.

    The ability to communicate effectively is also required as you will work closely with other groups both within and outside of CIG to coordinate design, development, and testing efforts of your assigned application components to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

    As a business analyst you will understand the business requirements end to end and break down into clear crisp deployable stories.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities
    Scrum Master

    Facilitate sprint planning

    Facilitate daily Scrum meetings

    Help the team maintain their visual management

    Communicate impediments to appropriate leadership and stakeholders

    Track burndowns/burnups throughout the iteration

    Plan for and facilitate the sprint review

    Plan for and facilitate the sprint retrospective

    Plan for and facilitate product backlog refinement

    Facilitate and gather backlog item estimates

    Track and remind the team of improvement experiments from their retrospective

    Coordinate and facilitate conversations with stakeholder

    Serve as Scrum master for more than one team, provided he or she is sufficiently skilled and available

    Help the team calculate capacity



    Business Analyst

    · Able to collate business requirements and convert to developmental stories
    · Adept in interacting with business/stakeholders and understand the business needs with complete clarity
    · Provide clear crisp requirement to the team to materialize the business needs


    Qualification:


    This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

    Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

    Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

    Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

    Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

    Build and execute necessary test cases which rigorously test developed code

    Self-starter, independently takes initiative in driving assignments to completion and solving problems without need for escalation

    Proactively research and develop new services, solutions, etc.

    Proactively identify gaps in all processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs, etc. and provide recommendations on how to resolve

    Perform regular/periodic peer/code reviews

    Work closely with business analyst, quality assurance, and project management resources throughout delivery of solutions

    Good experience on Application Development project lifecycle

    Strong focus on time-management, decision-making, and project delivery

    Ability to take a hands-on approach to identifying and optimizing existing code and code developed by other team members

    Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures

    Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

    Previous Financial Services experience

    Indepth knowledge on banking domain
