    Technical Sales Executive stands at the heart of Bid Management team, at Airbus Digital Solutions Portfolio, which is in charge of coordinating the response to customers request for proposals - triggered whether unsolicited, informal or though RFIs and or RFPs.
    Technical Sales Manager works in close coordination with the Sales and Portfolio teams to understand customer requirements, win price and win strategy.
    Curious, critically-minded, and detail-oriented, Technical Sales Manager are strong writers, capable of:
    • Drawing functional and technical high level architectures of an end to end solution.
    • Turning complex technical concepts into persuasive proposals, white papers, and other business documents.
    The ideal candidate will feel comfortable with -- even excited by -- the prospect of drafting technical and non-technical content for customer-facing documents, and collaborating with key members of our engineering, business, and leadership teams.

    Technical Sales Manager shall be able to travel and face customer executives, managers and technical staff to grab expectations and to defend proposals.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage and write complex digital solutions proposals, pre-tender and or tender responses that require coordination between multiple teams across product lines.
    • Synthesize inputs from customers and present the results
    • Define win strategy, in collaboration with sales.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, contract support, legal support, architect and portfolio teams, set deadlines, move the project forward till contract signature, and communicate status updates
    • Own the definition of the proposed technical solution and certify that it meets stated customer requirements and is deliverable within the costs and other parameters specified in the solution.
    • Manage Solution Risks/Mitigation and Assumptions
    • Align solution and contract schedules ; Align pricing mechanism to the costs
    • Communicate proposals essentials and impacts to contract managers, deal committee, senior leadership, and other audiences.
    • Ensure that technical and business reviews are conducted, and approvals are received timely.
    • Ensure successful hand-off of the solution to the delivery team.
    • Develop deep expertise with Digital Solutions, existing customers, and potential customers.
    • Serve as a link between sales, business development and digital engineering teams.
    • Develop new ways to improve the proposal development process and streamline our procedures.
    • Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs rightly
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to quickly understand IT technical concepts and feel comfortable in a highly IT technical environment.
    • Demonstrated project management skills.
    • Strong people skills; experience building and managing relationships across a range of business areas.
    • Presentation skills
    • At least two years of experience in a role requiring writing or communications strategy (preferred).
    • Prior experience in bid responses (preferred).
    • Knowledge of airline and MRO operations (preferred)
    • Ability to travel on short notice
