    We have an urgent opening for the post of Manager, Sourcing for Pune Location.

    Position: Manager, Sourcing

    Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Electronics / Mechanical), MBA from reputed institutes desirable.

    Experience: 5+ years

    Job Description:

    1. Manage procurement and sourcing policies and activities, including overseeing specific contracts.
    2. Conduct market research, create estimates and forecasts, and identify cost reduction strategies.
    3. New vendor addition as per Standard Sourcing Process.
    4. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for contracts for timely supplies at fair prices and in compliance with regulations.
    5. Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost, service guarantee & other terms and develop win-win strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
    6. Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning.
    7. Maintain and develop supplier relationships (trade shows, supplier meetings, conferences, etc.)
    8. Monitor the supplier performance & responsible to take appropriate action with suppliers not meeting the performance requirements.
    9. Define and adhere to standard Sourcing process with agreed time-lines.
    10. Responsible to keep all SRC master data correctly updated all the time.
    11. Ensure that the SRC is aligned with purchase to execute smooth transition of any business within the sources.
    12. Create, Implement & monitor the supplier agreements/contracts.
    13. Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities.
    14. Ensure supplier audits are being conducted as per defined schedule.
    15. Check feasibility for Part Sourcing/Availability & accordingly provide part approval to ENGG. (In co-ordination with ENGG).
    16. Provide technology driven or other solutions/ideas for the benefit of the Organization (irrespective of dept.) in terms of Cost Saving, Kaizen etc. and encourage the team for the same.)
    17. Review Teams performance and monitor area of improvements of respective member.
    18. Define and monitor the program & projects of all team members.
    19. Monitoring and closing all internal and external NCs, OFIs, PRs.

    Skills:

    1. Strong leadership and team skills, including ability to motivate and manage people.
    2. Solid decision-making ability and problem-solving ability using available facts in sensitive client and internal situations.
    3. Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
    4. Should have skills to perform supplier assessment.
    5. Should have sound knowledge of PPAP, IATF 16949, APQP.
    6. Technically capable to understand requirement from engineering team.
    7. Details Oriented to analyse the data & changes.
    8. Should be familiar with tool, dies development process.
    9. Sound knowledge of MS office
    10. Flexible & adaptive
