Exposure to HW developments (Digital, F, RF.) and a good understanding of the challenges of each stage of a sub assembly development
Manages and coordinates internal teams as well as development and industrial partners performing a work package related to HW development (can include digital, RF, power supply design board as well as Firmware).
Prior to the development (therefore during the bid phase or through standard cost estimation activities), coordinates the estimation of the development cost, including prototypes realization (if applicable).
Liaises with the Project Manager (local Business Line manager and/or HW Solution Engineering Manager in France) and his/her HW Head of Discipline (HOD) for all aspects relating to his/her work package.
Conducts all work package activities (including those relating to risks and opportunities) to reach completion of the project regarding its technical, industrial, and financial objectives while satisfying the needs of the Project Manager.
He/she performs this role from authorization to start until closure of the work package for all aspects of the work package including organization, scheduling, effort, budget, etc.
When the Work Package covers a complex procurement with a supplier that has a project of their own, he/she shall ensure that the supplier project is monitored and controlled in terms of schedule and milestone adherence, risk management, quality of deliveries, etc, to ensure delivery to meet the sub-contract requirements.
