Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighter – Adani Airport
Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Assist in responding to aircraft emergencies, fire alarms, and rescue operations.
- Operate firefighting equipment, vehicles, and tools under supervision.
- Support fire suppression using foam, dry chemicals, and water.
- Conduct routine inspections of firefighting equipment and vehicles.
- Participate in fire drills, training exercises, and safety briefings.
- Assist in maintaining fire station cleanliness and readiness.
- Follow ICAO, DGCA, and airport safety protocols.
- Provide first aid and basic life support when required.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 10+2 (Higher Secondary); Diploma in Fire & Safety preferred.
- ARFF Certification (DGCA/ICAO/NFPA) is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of firefighting techniques and rescue operations.
- Physically fit and able to work in high-stress environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
