What do we do?

- Own the brand revenue goals across channels (Delivery, Takeaway, Voice and Dine In)

- Understand the region x channel x customer x consumption performance in depth to feed actionable insights to the entire marketing function

-Work with organisation wide data to understand business problems

- Measure ROI of various marketing programs

-Optimise, design and deploy the brand promotion budget to drive aggressive customer acquisition and increase retention/engagement for existing users

-Model, Pilot and Scale new growth propositions for the brand

-Build the Annual and Monthly Plan in line with both macro and micro business trends

-Revenue forecasting to feed accurate supply chain planning

-A/B testing to validate/invalidates on-going hypothesis/growth ideas

A little bit about the role:

What is the purpose of this role?

-Enable the marketing team with actionable data backed insights.

-Building team wide visibility of daily analytics and self-serving capabilities to satisfy business objectives.

What will be your key responsibilities?

- Embed data driven insights across the Marketing team

- Own the end to end insights creation-to-consumption lifecycle, leading business problem identification, definition, hypotheses formulation, designing and delivering the solution

- Participate in key decision making forums & communicate key insights in an effective and influential manner.

- Deliver actionable business recommendations (setup A-B experiments) to enable data driven decisions and demonstrate measurable value.

- Expedite root cause analyses/insight generation against a given recurring use case through automation/self-serve platforms

- Conduct regular planning and reviews key performance metrics and aid in benefitting from change

Capability development

- Manage portfolio & pipeline for self-serve analytics capabilities, and be a subject matter expert to guide business teams in using them

- Monitor and forecast key business metrics regularly

- Partner with internal/external teams to define problem statement, hypothesis and validation results

- Work with Business, Product and Data engineering teams for continuous improvement of data accuracy through feedback and scoping on instrumentation quality and completeness

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics/data science or related field (preferably in an ecommerce/ retail organisation)

- Closely worked and collaborated with business teams

- Hands-on experience on data manipulation tools like SQL, R, Python, Excel etc.

- Exposure to BI Platforms like Power BI, Tableau etc.

- Knowledge of basic statistical measurement frameworks (measures of central tendency, dispersion, distribution, significance testing etc.)

- Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques like Regression, Classification etc.
