Job Title: Assistant Manager Finance MIS
Location: India - Ahmedabad
Reporting to: CEO Cybersecurity
Function: Cybersecurity Services - Finance
Role Summary
The Assistant Manager Finance MIS will play a crucial role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making across the cybersecurity services business. This individual will consolidate and analyze financial performance data across service lines (e.g., DFIR, IDAM, Engineering, Delivery), geographies, and business units, helping drive financial discipline and commercial visibility in a fast-scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- MIS Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS dashboards covering P&L, cost analysis, revenue tracking, and service line profitability.
- Consolidate reports across departments and geographies for leadership review.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis vs. actuals.
- Track cost allocations, headcount budgets, and key performance metrics.
- Revenue & Cost Tracking
- Support revenue assurance by working closely with delivery and sales teams on billing cycles, client contracts, and milestones.
- Track project-wise margins, resource utilization, and service profitability.
- Business Decision Support
- Analyze financial and operational data to support pricing, staffing models, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Highlight key trends, risks, and actionable insights for business reviews.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure financial documentation and records are audit-ready and in compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Support external and internal audits with relevant MIS and reconciliations.
Desired Profile
Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably in services, IT/ITES, or consulting firms.
- Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, or business finance roles.
Skills:
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of financial modelling and dashboards.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle, Zoho Books).
- Good understanding of revenue recognition, service line tracking, and cost centres.
