Job Description

Role & responsibilities

This position is responsible for establishing the Finance function at the SCC by building a team of professionals which will look after Finance, Accounts, Governance and Costing

Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.

1. Set up the Finance function at the green field by ensuring that all the norms and guidelines of Corporate and integrate it with the SCC.

2. Build the team for providing all financial and accounting support for the new SCC. Ensure every position is filled, overseeing all Team member by communicating company benefits and compensation policies to each Team Members, providing encouragement to Team Members in order to build the best team possible.

3. Position is accountable for ensuring business partnering & financial controls

4. To provide key financial services to internal and external customers and provide a strategic & professional support to the supply centre to deliver its objectives

5. Populating dashboards pertaining to variable costs and suggesting Cost Saving initiatives

6. Detailed understanding of P&L and Variance Analysis and ability to build the same

7. Handling areas related to Food Cost, Statutory/ Internal Audit/ CAPEX

8. Handling areas related to Inventory like Inventory movement analysis and its Audit

9. Other Accounting aspects- Ensure timely predictions of monthly, quarterly, and annual results

10. Manage budgets and their credibility.

11. Maintain and assess risk management

12. Adherence to financial capitals as per company policy

13. Ensure all financial and internal audits go as per the norms mentioned with financial regulations

14. Maintain and monitor the financial performance of the company

15. Ensure quality training for accounting and finance personnel

16. Responsible for proposing Annual SCC Budgets and project schemes

17. Analyse financial reports and benefits of various business initiatives

18. Ability to motivate and Engage a Team of 4-5 members

Total Delivered Cost:

  • Monthly preparation SCC G&A and Logistic analysis and timely reporting to the HO and SCC Head.
  • Detailed analysis of SCC G&A and Logistics cost with the root cause of variances.
  • Developing the corrective action plan in discussion with functional head/related head of the department.
  • Generating the new ideas to tackle the cost inflation and maximize the efficiency of the operation in parallel with the budgeted cost target.

Key parameter of analysis:

  • Material Cost (rate variance)
  • Commissary usage variance
  • Inventory reconciliation losses (Including trays)
  • Inbound freight + Outbound freight
  • Inventory write-offs due to damages and expiry & temperature abuse during transit and not claimed from transporters.

Fixed Asset

  • Ensure that all the additions of fixed assets in commissaries entered in SAP/FAR.

Any deletion of fixed assets/change in location of fixed assets only after prior approval of SCC HOD and Maintenance HOD and correspondence changes in FAR.


  • Preparation of Budget for SCC G&A and SCC Logistics.
  • Finalization of Budget in consultation with Commissaries head and ISC Finance Manager.

Cash Management

  • Handling the petty cash expenses of the SCC.
  • Process the cash transaction only after SCC head approval.
  • Handling the physical cash and keep update with SAP balanc

Preferred candidate profile

  • Qualification & Experience - MBA or CA or ICWA with experience in similar sized, scale and complexity
  • 4-7 plus years experience,
  • SAP knowledge must.
