Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities within government tendering processes.
  • Focus on tender opportunities within government agencies, departments, and institutions, aligning with pharmaceutical product portfolios.
  • Prepare, organize, and submit tender documentation, ensuring compliance with all government regulations and requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of tender specifications, pricing strategies, and competitive landscapes prior to submission.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of government policies, regulations, and procurement procedures related to pharmaceutical products.
  • Register and manage accounts on government tender portals, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required documents.
  • Facilitate the negotiation and preparation of agreements following successful tender awards, including cost estimation and order fulfillment coordination.
  • Monitor and track Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) and payment milestones throughout the tender process.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within government agencies and procurement departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with pricing and contractual terms.
  • Maintain organized records of tender-related data and generate Management Information System (MIS) reports as needed.
  • Coordinate tender participation through various channels, including direct engagement with government entities and collaboration with third-party vendors.
  • Work towards achieving predefined business objectives for government tender projects, including revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and government policies to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the government tender business segment, driving efficiency and profitability through effective management and execution.
