Bim Coordinator
Job Description
\*Purpose/Objective
Overseeing the implementation and review of BIM processes and technologies to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.*
Description for Internal Candidates*Key Responsibilities of Role
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to integrate BIM into the design and construction phases
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline project delivery
- Conduct clash detection, model coordination, and 4D/5D simulations to optimize project outcomes
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes
- Stay updated on the latest BIM trends and technologies to drive innovation within the organization
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards in all BIM activities
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to exchange BIM data and coordinate project requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM practices and methodologies within the organization
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelors or masters degree in architecture/engineering with 8-10 years of experience in Building Information Modeling within the Real Estate industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD Architecture
- Experience with BIM collaboration tools like BIM 360 or similar platforms
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and standards
- Ability to create and manage complex BIM models for large-scale projects
- Skills in clash detection, model coordination, and 4D/5D simulations
- Must have worked with Real Estate Developer
