Principal Duties And Responsibilities: This role is for a PS Senior Manager in the Public Service Industry team within Accenture Strategy & Consulting s Capability Network (CN) practice. CN is being grown aggressively to service overseas markets and has grown from startup mode to over 3800 consultants today.
The PS industry group works with the following sub industries:
Social Services (Employment, Pensions, Education and Child welfare)
Post & Parcel
Cities & Infrastructure
and other companies across the PS value chain, providing consulting services.
The PS SM will be responsible for helping in driving our PS clients strategy and business planning efforts. Responsibilities may include:
The SM role is an integral part of the CN PS team
The SM will help achieve the team s Value objectives, and Head Count & Recoverability targets
The SM will help build the PS Post & Parcel practice with 10 people focusing on Postal industry in the next 12-16 months.
The SM will develop relationships with key stakeholders such as Industry Leadership & Client Account Leads
The SM will help our client teams in Market & Business Development activities, and thus enabling them to increase their revenues and sales
The SM will be responsible for managing 1 to 2 Mangers and 4 to 5 consultants directly
The SM will Commit to supporting innovation, collaboration, organization of team events, mentoring, learning & training and recruitment
The SM will work across a dynamic & international team, and travel globally to support global client work
Business Development: Support global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice. Lead/Contribute to the proposal developments as an SME expert for different PS domain areas
Industry Experience: Provide industry expertise in various sub-segments of the PS industry
Domain Development: Development of assets and methodologies, point-of-view, research or white papers for use by the team and larger community. Acquiring skills that have utility across industry groups.
