DPA5-Immediate

Role & responsibilities

• Create, modify and update program specific process sheets

• DPA5 o Perform checks o Raise part/process issues as identified to program Re-perform checks as D&Rs CAD matures through UNV2 o Support in establishing virtual build sequence o P-Release

• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and deliver corrective actions as required • Lead identification, resolution, and closure of Mfg. feasibility issues.

• Complete design phase Health Chart assessments

• Write/modify/maintain process sheets (SOW) and deliver updated Cycle Line Layouts.

• Failure Mode (PFMEA) creation and updates to manage RPN risk.

• Support Special Characteristics Cascade and Agreement Form (SCCAF) development and sign-off

• Interface with Design and Release activities.

• Deliver cycle line layouts and work with the assembly plants to have a complete operator/equipment workstation ready for launch.

• Develop program cost analysis, tooling design and build SOWs

• Define tooling needs o DC and pneumatic tooling o Fixtured tooling and lift assists o Identify ergo tooling needs o Major equipment and / or automation needs o Pallets, details, and subassembly build-up conveyance o Error proofing

• Develop "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs.

• Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labor requirements.

• Work with the Facility team to identify needs

• Process RFQs & supplier PO kick-off (re-assign POs to PI team at FDJ)

• Develop "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs.

• Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.

• Lead virtual manufacturing assembly builds.

Skills Required:
Process Simulation
Skills Preferred:
Teamcenter

Experience Preferred:
• Experience in Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.

• Familiarity with Siemens Process Simulate, 3D CAD, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, preferred.

• Familiarity with Final Assembly tooling, processes and facilities preferred.

• Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles.

• Familiarity with Error proofing.
