Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components, including motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches
• Install, maintain, and modify electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Work effectively with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
• Stay abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and maintenance practices, and propose improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Prepare reports on major problems and failures, suggesting corrective actions to minimize recurrence.
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians in proper electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Educational Qualification:

Must:

• BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering

Desirable

• Basic knowledge of 5S / 7QC Tools
• Basic knowledge of problem-solving tools

Relevant Experience:

Must:

• Minimum of 05 years related experience
• Team Player. Analytical Skills. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.

Desirable:

• Ammunition or related industry experience.
