Environmental Health and Safety Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation, monitoring of Environmental documents Customer HSE Audits / Visits
• Strengthen efforts towards source reduction by constant training of associates and contract workers on Waste Minimization through filed training and monitor progress.
• Implementation of waste minimization methods.
• Maintaining of all documents pertaining to Environment compliance related.
• Preparation of SOPs and follow up with the QA dept, pertaining to new procedures initiations.
• Compliance to EC, GW NOC, CFO & CFE conditions in site.
• Preparation and submission of Environment related returns based on schedules.
• Implementation of EMS (Environmental Management Standards) in site
• Preparation of standard operating procedures and OCPs related to Environment
• Monitoring of hydraulic loads for ETP and Hazardous waste on a day-to-day basis
• Maintenance of hazardous waste storage area and compliance of HWM rules.
• Setting of objective and targets pertaining to HSE in part of EMS.
• Preparation of environmental management programs for HSE.
• Compliance with customer requirements pertaining to Environment & Management system.
• Environmental monitoring conducting at site for AAQ, Stack, Noise, etc. as per schedules
• Compliance of site environmental aspects based on regulations and rules released by the regulatory body.
• Ensure 100% compliance of third-party service providers related to waste disposal.
• Conducting onsite audits and evaluation of waste disposal facilities and their agreements.
• Environmental control tours at site and ensure compliance of observations.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of State and Central PCB related requirements and its compliance.
• Conducting Environmental Aspect and impact analysis in part of EMS, monitoring and documentation of EMS related activities.
• Reporting to HSE Head of the site.
