Skills,
1. Data center Facility Infrastructure monitoring from Infrastructure background
2. Monitoring & Optimization
3. Report management in MS Office
4. Data center critical facility management (MEP & ELV System)
5. Incident management, Escalation handling
6. Adherence to Change management process.
7. Knowledge on CMMS tool and internal function.
8. Knowledge on Service request ticketing systems
9. Knowledge on TAT based ticket management
10. Basic knowledge on Network monitoring tools
11. Communication & Collaboration
12. Prior JCI PC View will be added advantage
13. Prior DCIM monitoring in data center experience a plus
As a IBMS NOC Engineer, you will be assigned as supervisor category to monitor the IBMS Software for Data center MEP and ELV (Facility Infrastructure) equipment’s monitoring and reports to the Shift Manager as per their facility management procedures of building equipment’s parameters shown in graphical live values.
In Addition to this, IBMS Software has basic features like generates alarms, Tickets if any fault occurs in the building, recording various values called as trend-log and report preparation.
This position must need to know about service tickets application handling knowledge and communication management, Incident management
As a IBMS NOC Engineer, you must need to be in 24/7 various shift schedule.
This IBMS NOC Engineer position will be for PAN India location data center monitoring. From assigned work location (i.e Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai Etc..)
As a NOC Engineer, you must be aware how HVAC equipment of air handling unit, fan coil unit, the variable air volume in building working so that NOC Engineer can identify what changes can be done in filed level or SCADA tool to adjust the temperature setpoint based on the client requirement.
IBMS NOC Engineer must know how to handle alarm management in IBMS.
When the equipment fails to run on the field or not working properly; the respective controller triggers the alarm based on condition written in the program.
Eg: If the Room temperature reaches above SLA degree Celsius, IBMS generate alarms and that should be
- Checked – NOC Engineers has to inform the respective team the check the respective Unit serving room.
- Acknowledge – NOC Engineers have to acknowledge the alarm.
- Ignore – Based on the alarming nature about which is not a high priority.
IBMS NOC Engineer can able to communicate with the respective engineer to highlight the issues noted on BMS.
- if any field equipment/BMS controller not working or communicating, then NOC Engineer can be able to communicate with respective vendors and get the field issues resolved and should cross-check with BMS System to ensure the working condition of BMS.
- NOC Engineer can be able to prepare a report and submit to his/her focal point.
IBMS NOC Engineer must know various documents related to BMS, they are
- IO Schedule,
- IO termination drawings.
- Network schematics.
- The sequence of operation.
- Control Schematics.
- Network Schematics
- Specifications
- Alarm codes details from various MEP equipment’s.
IBMS NOC Engineer must know basic idea about other ELV systems in the building and how they are interfaced with IBMS.
Able to differentiate and highlight the issues to the right team based on the various problems raises in the building related to IBMS, For example
- If the AHU Equipment graphic page shows trip alarm; that Issues should be highlighted/informed to HVAC Team,
- If the Electrical system not showing proper values or active alarms; that should be informed to Electrical Team.
- After informed/confirmed by HVAC team about the trip alarm and if field showing/working in normal; then it should be update in ticket log and timely close the ticket.

UG:B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Electrical
