Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Good Knowledge in Interior Plastics designing (IP & CNSL, DT, Registers, Hard Trims & HVAC Ducts)
• Expertise in Catia V5 Work benches (Part design, Surface Design, Assembly Design &
Kinematics) knowledge in Kinematics will be added Advantage
• Good Knowledge in Injection molding & tooling
• Good knowledge in bench marking Interior components
• Good Knowledge in Draft Analysis in Catia
• Good knowledge in Master sectioning
• Good knowledge in DPA process
• Good Knowledge in DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
• Good Knowledge in DFA (Design for Assembly)
• Hands on experience in 2D detail drawings
• Good knowledge in GD&T
• Good knowledge in GPDS
• Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
• Basic knowledge in part level and Vehicle level testing standards.
• Basic knowledge in COD (Chain of Dimensioning)/Stack up Analysis.
• Knowledge in Team Centre, 3DExperience is added Advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Follow best practices, processes in achieving team deliverables

Job Description

Responsible for vehicle interior and exterior 3D CAD (computer aided design) development using studio class A styling surfaces from concept till physical prototype considering tooling feasibility, compatibility of the part, packaging study, functionality, cost, develop part to part interface, update based on master sections etc.. Release the part during Final Data Judgement (FDJ) clearing all the DPA issues
Expected to own the complete commodity and lead the time to deliver the task.
