Some detailed responsibilities include the following:
- Design, develop, test, deploy and on-call support
- Create design docs, review with Lead/Team.
- Independently work on development stories partnering with lead
- Develop components and services using agile methods and tools
- Conduct Code reviews, participate in team discussion and raise issues in a timely manner with team manager
- Build and deploy microservices using AWS, Java and understand deployment and monitoring tools like CloudWatch etc
Who are you?You are a Senior Software engineer who is a collaborative, creative problem solver with an interest in analytics and the following:
- Must have BS/MS Degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, communication skills with good written and spoken English
- Knowledge about basic algorithms and data structures, In-depth experience of writing unit-, acceptance- and performance tests
- Solid experience in Java and understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Spark, Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, iPass, Grafana, Prometheus, NGNIX, Envoy.
- Strong experience of Web Application Servers and Web Application Architecture, exposure to Amazon API Gateway, or similar products is a plus.
