    Position of Business Development

    Terms of Reference for Business Development , GLRA India About GLRA India: German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) India is a registered Trust and actively engaged in the cause of Leprosy , TB and Disability affected people since the year 1966. Over 50 years , GLRA India has contributed in diagnosis and treatment of 2.3 million people affected by leprosy , 0.21 million people affected by TB and rehabilitated 0.27 million persons affected by leprosy. Presently , GLRA India supports 49 projects (including NGO , direct projects , Co - financed projects and technical support to National Leprosy Eradication Programme in Gujarat , Tamil Nadu and West Bengal). GLRA supports quality services to affected population under Leprosy , TB , and disability sector with funding support from its Head Quarters , based in Germany. GLRA India in the near future would play a major stakeholder in supporting medico - social programmes for the affected population by leprosy , TB , and disability in Asian countries in general and to the GLRA Asia supported partners in particular. Purpose of the position: Overall , under the supervision of the CEO , the incumbent will contribute to the development and implementation of GLRA Indias 2020 plan for establishing robust partnerships with corporate and other clients. She / He would focus in: 1) To help develop new clients and maintain existing while helping in steady increase in revenues 2) Increase visibility and recognition for the brand at state and national level 3) To work closely with the senior management team in generating resources and work with communication lead for Public Relations. 4) Strategic Planning , developing client relationships to generate revenue growth 5) Make the brand widely recognised and a partner of choice for corporates , foundations client and the high net worth individuals in India abroad She / he will incorporate and strengthen the external and internal activities of the organisation by developing and adopting a strategic approach for engaging with all stake holders. Key Job Responsibilities Assisting in developing a revenue generation / mobilisation strategy that includes 5 years and yearly targets to meet the costs of the current and future activities of the organisation Assisting in developing annual work plans based on the approved strategy and prepare income and expenditure projections for the year Showcase our activities to potential clients / donors and seek their funding commitment Assisting to prepare concept notes for every new proposal or initiative and explore funding interests Approach and generate revenue / resources from individuals , Corporates , trusts and foundations. Recommendations for business growth and problem resolution. Ensure donor investments are in line with organizational goals. Work on web based / face to face / individual client. Liaise with agencies that facilitate FR initiatives such as printers , mailing agents , data providers , volunteers and others Ensure timely and prompt acknowledgement of fund commitments / thank you letters / receipts Work on CSR activities / initiatives with corporates to cordially work by discussing with their mandates. Organize or provide assistance in organizing any fundraising events for the organization Maintain relationships with existing clients and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization Suggest other innovative ideas for effective client relationship. Maintain relationships with existing stakeholders and respond to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization. Assist the RR in developing business plans to generate income from various sources. Develop etiquette relationship with funding agencies in India Maintain the website and regularly update it with information about organizations work. Maintaining proper documentation of the clients. Recommend potential and genuine services to management by collecting clients information and analysing them. Assist to prepare communication materials in support of fundraising such as brochures , appeals , newsletters and annual reports on the basis of regional manifesto. Act as a liaison , provide product / services information and resolve product or service problems by clarifying the client complaint; determining their mandate to serve; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. Cut themselves in their clients shoes and advocate for them when necessary Ensure excellent service standards , respond efficiently to clients inquiries and maintain high client satisfaction. Identify and assess clients needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate , valid and complete information by using the right methods / tools Handle clients complaint , provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Essentially establish and cultivate relationships with companys clients. Collaborate with a companys multiple internal departments to help improve the quality of products. Help to streamline the organisations operations by helping to reduce costs Participate in client discussions , and conferences as a representative of the organization. Requirements: Develop a strategic approach to client visibility and GLRA India visibility through robust projects. Maintain a thorough understanding of GLRA India activities in order to communicate effectively; ensure a close fit between funding source GLRA India strategy , services and organisational priorities Strategic planners and have a strong understanding of a companys products to answer questions in both group and one - on - one situations.
