Operator – Base Bleed Adjustment

Role & responsibilities

• The operating personnel for the Base-Bleed adjustment shall carryout following activities,
• Preparation of the machine for the Base Bleed tightening
• Applying glue to the bullet thread before tightening the Base-Bleed
• Manuel pre-screwing of the Base-Bleed into the bottom thread of shell
• Handling of shells with Base-Bleed into the tightening machine
• Tightening the Base-Bleed by means of the machine to the final position
• Checking the correct tightening of the Base-Bleed on the shell
• Cleaning the machine after the work shift
• Ability to rectify minor stoppage and correction to ensure defect free component
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S and 7QC tools
• Knowledge of measuring instruments

Educational Qualification:

Must:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Desirable

• Basic knowledge of 5S / 7QC Tools

Relevant Experience:

Must:

• Diploma - Minimum of 05 years related experience
• Team Player. Analytical Skills. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.

Desirable:

• Ammunition or related industry experience.
