  • Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
  • Must Have Skills :Oracle Exadata
  • Good To Have Skills :MySQL Database Administration,Oracle Database Administration,PostgreSQL
  • Job Requirements : Key Responsibilities : Primarily manage Exadata Systems along with Oracle databases and RAC instancesConfigure and maintain storage cells of Exadata,such as creating celldisks, resizing griddisks etcReview Exadata performance , periodic health check using exachk reports Troubleshooting clusterware issues , hardware failures Coordinating with Oracle to resolve complex issues related to ExadataBackup and recovery of Cellnodes,Exadata VMsManage Exadata Appliance hardware Storage,DBnodes,Infiniband etc
  • Technical Experience : Strong experience in Exadata Appliance Storage,DBnodes,Infiniband etcExperience in configuration and support of Exadata systemsinstallation,configuration of db nodes/storage nodes etcClear understanding of Exadata features such as HCC, Flash Cache,Storage Index,IORMStrong knowledge of RACASMGood knowledge in Dataguard environment performing switchover, failover etcGood to have Exadata machine patching knowledgePerformance Tuning ability in Oracle database
  • Professional Attributes : Strong troubleshooting skills 11 yrs of hands on experience Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical employees and with vendors of system related productsWork closely with team and be an active contributing memberwilling to Participate in on call duty as required
  • Educational Qualification : BTECH MCA
  • Additional Information : Microsoft sql server,Mongo DB knowledge is an added plus
