Role & responsibilities

• Determination of solubility in various solvents using Crystal16.
• Meta Stable Zone Width (MSZW) determination.
• Carrying out crystallization experiments in EasyMax and in lab cylindrical reactors.
• Carrying out crystallization experiments to meet the quality, high yield, targeted polymorph, required Particle Size Distribution (PSD) as per requirement.
• Hands-on experience of PAT tools such as FBRM, PVM for crystallization process development and ReactIR for reaction monitoring.
• Troubleshooting of crystallization issues such as Oiling out, Scaling, Low yield, Purification etc.
• Carrying out Polymorph, Salt and Co-crystal Screening. Data interpretation of PXRD, DSC, TGA etc.
• Knowledge on various filtration equipments and drying studies.
• Documentation of experiments in eLN and reports preparation.

Technical & Functional:

• Knowledge and understanding of crystallization process development of APIs and Intermediates
• Knowledge on supersaturation, nucleation, seeding point etc.
• Handling reactors up to 5 litres
• Technology transfer and Scale-up at plant
• Basic computer skills incl. MS-Word, Excel and Powerpoint
