Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ensure plant performance is within intergrated operating window.
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies that align with corporate objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Review feasibility study of plant change requests in line with MOC procedures
- MOC Evaluation and approval
- Initiate timely action for optimal performance of operating units.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term process improvement strategies
- Lead the execution of large-scale process improvement projects.
- Develop proposals & give inputs on CAPEX and OPEX based on the type of modifications for enhancing profitabilty/reliability.
- Frame catalyst performance evaluation criteria & guide in managing catalyst/chemicals inventory
- Catalyst and Chemical procurement planning
- Plan and manage Unit shutdown activities
- Finalize Plant Performance Testing Procedures for certification of performance of various facilities.
- Accountable for implementing corrective actions based on the review of safety audit observations during cross-functional audits
- Provide Guidance in establishing Energy policy and Energy Management System (EnMS)
- Stay updated on new trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to processes.
- Monitor and report on the success of process changes using relevant metrics and data.
- Guide in conducting the test runs, data collection & preparation of test run reports and identify performance issues
- Lead cross-functional teams in the identification, analysis, and re-engineering of business processes to drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of process excellence across the organization
- Assess & analyze current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
Preferred candidate profile
- More than 20 years in leading process engineering initiatives of large-scale complex in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.
- Proven track record in Process, Operation, Plant Turnaround, Planning, Process Design and Standards
- Should have experience in handling day-to-day multi plant operation/process and troubleshooting, Industrial Safety , Safe work permit.
- Should have deep understanding of a Petrochemical complex.
- Familiarization with various statutory and Environmental norms.
- Strong understanding of maintenance, services, and applications.
Education
UG:B.Tech/B.E. in Petroleum, Plastics, Metallurgy, Chemical
