Role: Propellant Quality Lead

Purpose/Objective

To support all mechanical and chemical commodities based new development activities from quality front at supplier end to meet desired quality expectations. The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements at supplier end to support new development activities. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and commercial abilities.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Initial assessment and enrolment of the new/ potential suppliers for Adani Defence
• Expertise in various commodities inspection
• Ensure the Quality assurance at supplier end in terms of dimensional and technical
• Expertise in making and controlling- dimensional, metallurgical, chemical inspection reports
• Ensure the internal systems implementation based on ISO 9001, AS9100 certifications
• Teach and upgrade supplier about quality enhancement at suppliers internal processes to improve the product excellence
• Carry out Process monitoring, Process Audit as per plan at supplier end
• Apply SPC / SQC Techniques to monitor process variation & identify adequate controls
• Understanding on basic metallurgy concepts of castings, forgings and NDT techniques for qualification
• Generating weekly and monthly performance indicators for MIS

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification:
• Chemical or Mechanical engineering graduate
• BE/ BTech In Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with 10-12 Year experience

Experiences:
• Minimum of 10-12 years related experience.
• Hands on experience in commodities quality validation
• Six sigma methodologies,
• Supplier Quality experience in Explosive, Chemicals, Defense & Aerospace Sector.
• Basic knowledge of energetic materials, metallurgy & NDT
