Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in conducting precise mechanical inspections at in-house, client, and supplier locations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency with various inspection tools to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Experience: 3-4 years in Manufacturing industry, preferably in Aerospace/Defence domain.

Must have experience in Defence/Aerospace

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct precise mechanical inspections at in-house, client, and supplier locations.
• Verify documents and perform inspections on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials.
• Utilize various inspection equipment, including micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
• Approve or reject items based on document/inspection results.
• Review and verify documentation for certifications, specifications, and conformance to design requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and suppliers to resolve inspection discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customer representatives to obtain product clearances and green cards.
• Scrutinize documents such as QAP, IPD, MDI, BOM, and ATP.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering

Other Qualifications:

• Proficiency with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects in complex products
