Reservation Supervisor

Role & responsibilities:

• Managing Reservations - Overseeing all aspects of reservations, including processing, changes, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensuring Guest Satisfaction - Addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
• Maintaining Accurate Records - Ensuring all reservation data is accurately entered and maintained in the hotel's reservation system.
• Problem Solving - Identify and resolve any issues related to reservations, such as overbookings, special requests, or billing discrepancies.
• Policies and Procedures - Following hotel policies and procedures related to reservations, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborating with Other Departments - Working closely with front office, sales, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Reporting and Analysis - Preparing reports on reservation activity, occupancy and rates.
• Staying Updated - Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in reservation technology.
• Team Leadership - Provide direction and guidance to reservation colleagues on day-to-day aspects of overall hotel reservations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education - A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in core hotel reservations for a minimum of 5 yrs or more, preferably in a five-star chain or brand hotels.
• Proficiency in using PMS (Opera/Micros/IDS) or similar.
• Proficiency in using Channel Manager (Staah or similar).
• Fair knowledge of OTA booking process and their extranet managem
