Screw filling line Technologist
Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The Screw filling line Technologist is responsible for technical setting of machine parameters that affect the quality of filled shells. The Technologist will check and evaluate the current process and trend of production processes. The technologist decides the machine parameter setting and process settings based on input material and quality of filled shells results.
- Monitoring and Control of Production Parameters
Continuously monitor, control, and analyze key production parameters to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and product quality. - Recipe Adjustment Based on Shell Caliber
Modify and fine-tune the shell filling recipe according to the specific caliber of the shells to maintain consistency and safety. - Documentation and Technological Alignment
Track and implement changes in shell drawing documentation. Adjust technological parameters in line with updated drawings to ensure compliance and accuracy. - Explosive Charge Quality Analysis
Analyze the quality of the explosive charge in filled shells. In case of deviations or unsatisfactory results, promptly correct the machines technological settings. - Supervision and Operator Guidance
Supervise machine operators and provide necessary instructions for machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting to maintain smooth production flow. - Data Collection and Record Keeping
Collect and maintain detailed records of the production process, including input materials, output, machine capacity, quality results, and performance trends. - Product Quality Analysis and Process Optimization
Evaluate the quality of manufactured products and adjust machine settings or process parameters to address any quality issues and improve outcomes. - Training and Safety Compliance
Possess formal education or training in explosive processing and safety protocols. Ensure adherence to safety standards in all aspects of shell filling operations.
Preferred candidate profile :
Educational Qualification: Must: • BE / Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Desirable • Six Sigma Certified • APQP & PPAP Documentation knowledge as Per ISO 9001:2015
Relevant Experience:
Must: • BE - Minimum of 05 years related experience •
Diploma - Minimum of 7 years related experience •
Team Player. Analytical Skills. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills. Desirable: • Working Experience in Defence Sector • Ammunition or related industry experience
Education
UG:Diploma in Any Specialization,B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
