Job Title: Solutions Architect

Experience: 7 10 years

Location: Bangalore

The Indian internet has exploded. Over half a billion Indians will be online before the end of this year. Most of these Indians will prefer using their own language online. And next to nobody is building solutions for them. They are prevented from using the internet to its fullest potential because English forms a language barrier.
Whenever they visit a site or app, they are met with a wall of text in a language that they do not understand.

As a Solutions Architect you will:
1.Work closely with the Client Engagement function and other senior members of the team, to design and create innovative digital solutions using latest technologies & platforms, in support of both client & internal business requirements

2.Build solution pitch in Government and Enterprise segments

3.Share knowledge of tools and techniques with colleagues, including non-technical personnel


4.Lead and contribute to storyboarding and brainstorming exercises, and run scoping and design meetings or conference calls with clients
5.Perform requirements analysis for the business
6.Produce software technical documentation and oversee the quality of that produced by others in the team
7.Support colleagues in business development activities, including proposal writing, estimating and client presentations.
8.Help maintain the quality system for the Digital Team including Software Development
9.Processes and Standard Operating Procedures
10.Assist with the technical proposals for RFP and RFI responses

Must haves:
1.Have a minimum of 7 to 10 years experience within Technology sector.

2.Solid experience in developing solutions architectures and business engagement in a large enterprise environment (5+ years experience).
3.Experience working in a product development environment employing software development techniques for delivering business value quickly (5+ years experience).
4.Experience in architecting complex system integration and business process refinement across various applications and technologies, with a preference for applications within the government and enterprise sector
5.A practical understanding of current privacy and intellectual property legislation.
6.Ability to provide expert guidance on how to implement and operationalize solution architectures, including advice on how current and future systems and operations can support the wider business.
7.Experienced in analyzing business problems, identifying solutions and driving the team to the solution.
8.Experience of managing and reconciling conflicting concerns from different stakeholders (of all levels), identifying and quantifying trade-offs.
9.Understanding of change management processes.
10.Good understanding ITSM design methodology.
11.Experience communicating with all levels of an organization - business and technical staff.
12.Experience working with 3rd party (outsourced) IT providers and/or system integrators.
13.Experience to drive business and technical presentations to varied group of audiences


Desired Experience:
1.Experience of representing architecture and issues during development at all key governance committees
2.Experience of leading the development of Architecture Impact Assessments and Definitions to ensure business and non-functional requirements are addressed
3.Lead architecture and design effort on a major project - Defined overall solution, coding standards, documentation, templates and patterns of implementation
