Sourcing & Development Engineer

Purpose:

To ensure QCDD of selected supplier parts towards achieving policy and daily targets

Responsibilities:

Identify the potential cost reduction ideas - supplier level
Identify the need for capacity enhancement based on production plan - supplier wise
implement capacity enhancement projects
Develop the capacity nearer to TVS-M mfg locations
Discussion with supplier and finalize the RM adjustment (Qtrly) along with Costing cell and raise the request
Providing ECR analysis and prioritize implement as per agreed list
Audit and improve supplier delivery management system. Scheduling smoothing of capacity
Actions of supplier QCD improvement / Encourage supplier to go for QMS certification
Joint warranty analysis and implement countermeasures
Develop / upgrade supplier test facilities inline with TSES
De-bottleneck QCD issues
