Sr. Engoneer-Electrical Maintenance

Job Purpose

Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment. They perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, repair equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role involves a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and functional electrical infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment.

Perform routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components, including motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and switches

Install, maintain, and modify electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.

Work effectively with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.

Stay abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and maintenance practices, and propose improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Prepare reports on major problems and failures, suggesting corrective actions to minimize recurrence.

Supervise and train maintenance technicians in proper electrical maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 05 years related experience
• Team Player. Analytical Skills. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
• Ammunition or related industry experience.
