Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Conduct security assessments of IoT devices, networks, and platforms to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.

2. Develop and implement robust security strategies and protocols to protect IoT systems from cyberattacks and unauthorized access.

3. Stay updated on emerging IoT security threats and technologies to proactively address potential risks.

4. Evaluate the security of automation and control systems, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and industrial control systems (ICS).

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures that protect against cybersecurity threats in automated and control environments.

6. Possess a deep understanding of IEC 62443, the international standard for industrial cybersecurity, and ensure that all security practices align with its requirements.

7. Lead efforts to maintain IEC 62443 compliance, including risk assessments, security architecture, and security validation activities.

8. Implement security frameworks and best practices specific to IoT and automation & control system security.

9. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines that adhere to industry standards and regulations, including IEC 62443.

10. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities in IoT and automation & control systems.

11. Lead incident response activities and investigations in the event of security breaches or incidents, ensuring a swift and effective response.

12. Educate and train team members and stakeholders on IoT and automation & control system security principles and best practices.

13. Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

14. Perform security testing, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.


Proven experience in IoT and automation & control system security, with a strong understanding of IEC 62443 compliance.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Industrial Cybersecurity Professional (CICSP)) are a plus.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies specific to IoT and automation & control system security.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to IoT and automation & control system cybersecurity.
