Warehouse Manager

Role & responsibilities

Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and secure handling of goods, including receiving, storage, and dispatch. They also manage inventory, lead warehouse staff, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

1 Tracking and controlling inventory levels, conducting physical counts, and reconciling data with storage systems.

2 Overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

3 Hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a safe working environment.

4 Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing security procedures.

5 Coordinating with shipping and receiving departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

6 Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs.

7 Preparing reports on warehouse performance, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.

8 Preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.

9 Maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse, including storage areas, equipment, and facilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Educational Requirements

Educational Qualification: Must: • BE / B. Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineer-ing / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management Desirable Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise in warehouse operations. Experience in working with MRP or ERP systems.

Relevant Experience:

Must: • BE - Minimum of 07 years related experience Knowledge of inventory management systems, practices, and procedures. Meticulousness in ensuring accuracy of rec-ords, documentation, and inventory counts. Desirable: Ability to lead and motivate staff and com-municate effectively with various stake-holders. Strong organizational skills, ability to priori-tize tasks, and plan warehouse operations effectively.
