We're seeking a candidate who possesses a strong blend of technical skills and business acumen. Ideally, you'll have:
* **Proven Proficiency in Power BI:** Experience in connecting to various data sources, data modeling (including DAX), designing compelling dashboards, and publishing reports.
* **Solid Experience with PowerApps:** Hands-on experience building functional Canvas and/or Model-Driven apps, working with data sources (SharePoint, SQL, Dataverse, etc.), and understanding connectors.
* **Practical Knowledge of Python:** Ability to write clear, efficient Python scripts for data manipulation (e.g., using Pandas), automation, or scripting tasks.
* **Experience with VBA:** Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and maintain VBA code, particularly within Excel, for automating tasks and working with objects.
* **Experience in Automation:** A track record of identifying opportunities for automation and successfully implementing solutions using one or more of the required technologies.
* **Strong Analytical Skills:** The ability to analyze complex data and business processes, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions.
* **Excellent Communication Skills:** You can clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and effectively gather requirements.
* **Problem-Solving Mindset:** You enjoy tackling challenges and figuring out how to make things work better.
* **Ability to Work Independently:** You can manage your time effectively and work on projects with minimal supervision, while also being a great team player.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with these technologies in a business environment.
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
**Bonus Points If You Have:**
* Experience with Power Automate (Flows).
* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) related to data or automation.
* Familiarity with project management principles.
* Experience providing training or support to end-users.

We're searching for a talented and versatile "Automation Specialist" to join our team. This isn't a role where you'll be stuck using just one tool. You'll be leveraging a powerful mix of Power BI, PowerApps, Python, and VBA to analyze business needs, automate repetitive tasks, build useful applications, and deliver insightful reports. You'll be a key player in improving efficiency and empowering our teams with better data and streamlined workflows.
This role is a fantastic fit if you enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with different departments, and working with both modern low-code platforms and established scripting languages to get the job done.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
As our Automation & Data Solutions Specialist, you'll be responsible for a variety of exciting tasks, including:
* **Analyzing and Automating Processes:** Working closely with various business teams to understand their current processes, identify bottlenecks, and pinpoint opportunities for automation and improvement.
* **Building with Power Platform:**
* Designing, developing, and deploying custom business applications using **PowerApps** to replace manual tasks, improve data collection, and streamline workflows.
* Creating interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using **Power BI** to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.
* **Developing Scripts and Solutions:**
* Writing and maintaining **Python** scripts for data extraction, transformation, analysis, automation tasks, or integrating different systems.
* Utilizing **VBA** (Visual Basic for Applications) to automate tasks within Microsoft Office applications (like Excel, Access, Outlook) and maintain or enhance existing legacy tools.
* **Data Management:** Connecting to various data sources, cleaning and transforming data, and ensuring data quality for reporting and analysis.
* **Providing Support & Training:** Offering support to end-users, troubleshooting issues with existing solutions, and potentially providing basic training on the tools and solutions you build.
* **Documenting Everything:*
* Creating clear documentation for the solutions you develop, making them easy for others to understand and maintain.
*Staying Current:** Keeping up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Power BI, PowerApps, Python, VBA, and general automation technologies.
