Counsellor

The clients of Nomi Network India can be the highly traumatized victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. The Counselor’s primary focus is the client while enrolled in Nomi Network’s training program.

Responsibilities:
• The Counselor will provide regular and as required one-to-one counseling for all the clients in Nomi Network’s program;
• The Counselor will provide family therapy to immediate family members of women in our care;
• The Counselor, in collaboration with other counselors, will facilitate regular gropsycho-educational sessions with the all the clients in Nomi’s program;
• The Counselor will conduct a psycho-social assessment of each trainee and will review this regularly;
• The Counselor will keep accurate and up to date records on each client under his or her care using the forms provided by Nomi Network. This information is highly confidential.
