Job Description

-Study each recipe and set up menu
-Cook food in a timely manner
-Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
-Inform wait staff about daily specials
-Ensure appealing plate presentation
-Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
-Monitor food stock and place orders
-Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
-Ensure cleanliness & orderliness of kitchen and stores.
-Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients to improve taste
-Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

-Proven working experience as a Head chef, or in a senior management position
-Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, PMS, POS)
-Impressive verbal skills to interact with customers for feedback
-Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
