Roles and Responsibilities:
-Manage and supervise team(s) of medicinal chemists (BS, MS and Ph.D. levels)
-Scientific leadership for driving successful outcomes of various drug discovery initiatives/efforts
-Effective management of resource allocation and utilization
-Recruit and develop key staffs/employees
Requirements:
-Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with strong scientific/publication track record
-5+ years drug discovery experience in leading team solving challenging synthetic problem and medicinal chemistry issues
-An experienced individual to lead multiple group of medicinal chemists working on the hit identification, hit to lead optimization, and development of SAR for modern drug discovery
-Extensive experience and knowledge of structure-based drug design using protein structure information for medicinal chemistry research is also preferred
