The primary purpose of the role is credit underwriting and riskmanagement for his region.
Appraise /recommend / approve proposals as per the delegation of authority.
- Monitor credit decisioning by the team
- Develop & motivate the credit team.
- Review delinquent cases and document learning's / portfolio reviews for risk management
- Conduct process audits
- Recommend changes to policy / process based on local nuances / competitor feedback.
- Establish and monitor vendors; maintain a pipeline for growth / attrition.
- Assist the Risk Management Group in research and analysis on industries/clients/markets.
Essential competencies:
- In depth knowledge of regional market.
Networking with peers in competition & retail customers preferred.
