Medical Laboratory Technician

To receive the samples & Centrifuge them.
Checking for adequacy of the sample for testing, haemolysis, lipaemia.
Taking worksheets printouts.
To cross check the patient name & ID on the sample container and the bar code stuck on the container. [2nd level check] and the tests requested for.
Running daily QC.
Processing samples.
Informing the reports of the patients to nursing staff telephonically if required.
Recording refrigerator temperature, room temperature and humidity. Running daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of all the equipment.
Performing any other job as told by senior.
Completion of reports.
