Job Description

1. Assists in the purchasing and procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the operation of the Association in compliance with established policies and procedures.
2. Obtains and evaluates quotations for furnishing office equipment, computers, safety supplies, software, building materials, heavy equipment rental, construction tools, minor repairs, printing services, automotive parts, and other supplies. Makes decisions based upon available information regarding requirement of end user, price, and availability. Prepares purchase orders and local purchase orders for Procurement and Warehouse Manager’s review and approval prior to purchasing.
3. Provides general office support in the Procurement and Warehouse Department such as typing, data entry, filing, handling of the phones, etc.
