Job Description

The accountant should know how to maintain:

- Company accounts

- Inventory management

- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.

- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.

- Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.

-Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

-Summaries current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

-Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

-Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
