Skills & Responsibility

1. Development of Java/J2EE code to meet specifications and designs and using best practices.

2.  Low level design peer reviews, build and unit test functional enhancements to the product.

3. Peer code reviewing.

4.  Code maintenance and refactoring.

5.  Effort estimation and task breakdown - estimating cost of implementing new changes and identifying risk.

6.  Defect resolution.

7.  Investigation and resolve deployment / config or ongoing problems with the application.

8.  Review and contribute to development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities.

9.  Working closely with test teams , database teams, project management and enterprise architects during the project life cycle.

Basic Qualification:
B.E/ MCA/B.Tech
