Job Description

The Senior DB engineer is responsible for administration of the NoSQL databases infrastructure (Cassandra, Mongo and Redis) hosted on the Cloud.

Skills/QualificationsRequired:

• Solid understanding of NoSQL concepts. Experience with Cassandra, Mongo and Redis is desired.
• Experience in DB installation and Replica sets / Sharded Cluster Setup
• Experience in managing DB instances on public cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure etc.
• Strong understanding of SQL in accessing and manipulating data
• Experience in database performance tuning required
• Experience in database upgrades required
• Strong understanding of system architecture.
• Strong experience in UNIX required, including command line editors, scripting (shell, Ansible, Perl, etc.)
• Experience with a variety of file formats (XML, JSON)
